Richard Funnell understands well that buying or selling a home can be a complex undertaking and certainly one of the most important financial events in ones life. In his previous career, as a 20+ year technology business executive having held a variety of posts in the areas of general management, business development, sales and marketing in Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States, Richard has been consistently recognized for his achievements in creating and negotiating deals. Many of these transactions have resulted in successful business partnerships, acquisitions, mergers and satisfied clients. His portfolio of skills has positioned him for success in his current Real Estate practice.
Ensuring the highest level of satisfaction with each and every client is paramount to Richard's results. He is an outstanding listener, a quality he feels is critical in Real Estate. He brings a wealth of business, marketing and client relationship experience to the Real Estate industry. Understanding and meeting client needs is a hallmark of Richard's career.
Richard earned a B.Eng. in electrical engineering from McGill University in Montreal and has successfully completed additional studies in Negotiation, Communications, Marketing and Real Estate among others. On the rare occasions when not working, Richard spends his time on photography, woodworking and cruising the waters surrounding Vancouver Island. He resides in North Saanich with his wife Cynthia.
